When you live, work, and play in the same area, gathering support is the real test. People see you often, so it's easy to slip into a mindset where you hold back because "they've already seen it." But the reality is, you're preparing for greatness. You're preparing for weeks like the one I just had on the road, performing for up to 16,000 people in a single venue, being able to present the show and entertain. That's something I don't forget, and I never will.
