Two hours before the guests arrive, the room is at its most honest. Every choice is still reversible. Every mistake is still cheap. This is the window we protect most.
The list before the set
Sound check is not a technicality. It is the last conversation the room and the horn have before an audience is invited into it. If they arrive at an agreement, the night walks itself.
